When chess.com player has a membership, be it Gold, Platinum or Diamond, their profile will show this colored "ribbon" which reads " GOLD MEMBER Since Apr 12, 2021" or " DIAMOND MEMBER Since Aug 20, 2023" etc.
Does the "since date" reset when changing membership tier? Does it matter if it's upgrade (gold to platinum for example) or downgrade (diamond to platinum for example)? Or does any kind of membership count, so it will never reset as long as you have contiguous active membership even if you change to different plan?
That date will be equal to your first premium membership purchase, even if you let it lapse for a long time and get a new one later.
