You can know if you have been offered a draw if>It says in big red letters on top of the notation window (the notation windows is the box that you can see what moves have been played, chat, check captured pieces ect.) > above that window it will say> "You have a pending draw offer" also under the notation widow where it has the buttons to "submit move" and "go to next game" and "offer draw" and "resign" if you have been offered a draw instead of "offer draw" it will say "claim draw" (note: it will also say "claim draw in any other position that you can claim a draw by the rules, an example of this would be: "draw by repetition"). In any case if you move a piece and do not accept the draw (moving a piece is automatic denial of a draw) by hitting the "claim draw" button it is automatically assumed that you declined the draw and will no longer display either the "you have a pending draw offer" banner above the notaton window or the "claim draw" option button. If at any point during a game you wish to offer a draw yourself you must MAKE YOUR MOVE FIRST and then go back to the game and hit the "offer draw" button and wait for your opponent to accept it. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that. I'll watch out for it in future (not that I expect it will happen too often!)
