Elder beginners?

Hello, I am Sandy, a native of the Washington DC Metro Area.  At 72 years old I am now living my dream of playing chess.  Any other basic beginners here who are of the elder age?  We have a wonderful young man of 20 years old who is a community volunteer for our assisted living, Brian comes on Fridays to teach me chess.  What fun.  Brian learned at 6 years old, his love of chess is an inspiration to me.  Another volunteer who comes on Mondays, Ann, from my Catholic church, who is 14 years old and plays chess with me too.

You should start playing against people on here, no matter what their age.
