Error while trying to play

Hi

When I am trying to play on the daily section I am not able to play because the "Upgrade your account" sign in the right right start blinking every second or so. And every time the moved piece goes back to the original position (if I already moved it or if the blick occours while I am trying to move it).

I am a developer and this looked to me like a bug, so I looked at the console on Chrome and there is is this error message (that continues aprearing once again every time the the sign blinks):

Are you on the default website? Have any plugins blocking site scripts?

I am using it in spanish (I don't know if this is not-default for you) but I am not using an older version or anything. And I have not activated brwser extention.

 

But I fount somthing curious: looks like this is happening on only one of the daily games (this one: https://www.chess.com/daily/game/156528968 ). The other is not having the same issue.

Hi, Kenny. Earlier in this week we had a period where a normal, temporary error response was delivered to your browser as a "301" permanent redirect. Some people were unlucky enough that their browser cached this redirect and uses it instead of contacting our server for a URL. We removed the URL so it now results in a 404, which in some browsers will clear that redirect from cache. Your browser does not seem to be one of them!

The fix is easy: clear your browser cache. That should fix it for you.

Hi, I won my last game on time, but after the game the chess Board was "turned" and the opponent was credited the win(!)

It is easy to see that it is a mistake because the time for both players stopped at about 2.30 (my time). What do I do to get this corrected?

@Balderama75, yours is a separate issue -- quoted from Erik: This morning we had a bug introduced which swapped the colors of the players after the game ended. We have reverted this bug and will fix all records and ratings. This should be completed by end of today. We are very sorry for any worry this may have caused you. If you see any remaining issues after today, please contact support and let us know. We will get it fixed immediately!
