Can someone please tell how to get the Explorer option to recognize the game I have on my board? When I hit the explorer option it just shows a totally new board. In the old chess site it would automatically adjust to the game on my board at that time.

Click the opening name on the game, above the move list. It is a link and has an Explorer icon right before the opening name.
