failure to award the strongest player the win

This game, right?
Seeing as, on the final move, your opponent effectively seperated your rooks and trapped one, you're not in the winnning position as you said. Is there something I'm missing? ;;

Black moved last so it can't be black timing out.
The rook isn't trapped though, and white would be winning with Rxe5 even if it was.

The points is just a guide, it doesn't matter how many you have if you run out of time or get checkmated.
You have a clock which you can't let hit 0.
When the time runs out, it isn't whoever has the most points at the end wins. It's whoever's clock runs out first loses.

Wikipawn, calm down. I was talking about /myself/ being an under 1000 because I wrongly said that the rook was trapped when it wasn't. That wasn't an insult, nor was it directed at you.

You have a clock each. You can't let your clock run down, and your opponent can't let theirs run down. Your clock ticks when it's your turn to move and vice versa.
BTW none of us are staff. But posting your photo would probably help.

Which is really obvious since I said "oops" before I said that, clearly meaning that I made a mistake.
Plus, you're /above/ 1000.
