Game aborted mid game no points no game in my records

I'm so tilted right now. I was playing against another player through live chess and was taking my time with my moves, clearly beating him.

Then the game aborts suddenly and no points are handed out. The game disappeared from my records so I can't even analyze it.

This is BS, I've contacted support and I want the points for the game. I don't whine about my losses and take them with my chin up, so why does chess.com do this crap? If the servers crashed then award the points to the person clearly winning?? Isn't that what the engine is for?!

I'm so tilted and need a break now. This pissed me off a lot. I was playing a decent opponent and was annihilating him. So chess.com doesn't have problems staying online when I lose long 30 minute matches but decides to go down when I'm losing?

Abaolute bs.

I will agree with you that it can be frustrating to have a game aborted mid way especially when you have a decisive advantage. I guess the reason the game was aborted was because of server restart and there is usually a warning 40 minutes before the server restart.
