I am sorry that you have this. I have been a free member for about a year now and never disconnect in the middle of a game and never hear many complaints about it. Perhaps it is your internet connection.

That's were you go to upgrade. Offers quite a lot of benefits including video lessons, unlimited analysis and tactics trainer etc. I would upgrade but frankly don't have the money

Which browser and version are you using?
What type of internet connection do you have ? (adsl, dial up, wifi ? )
Do you have just live chess window/tab open when playing? or more ?
When was the last time you cleared cookies and history from your computer?

I'm having the same problem - high lag and constant disconnect/reconnect...
I usually use firefox (3.5.15), but switched to ie7 and the same thing happens..
Doesn't seem to make a difference on how many tabs are open
Got a 2mb adsl connection

Ok...so I broke down and purchased membership. When I'm winning is when the disconnection problem surfaces. Makes me question why I would pay foe a site like this. Feels like someone steps in and pulls the plug on me. What's happening? Please don't tell me it's my internet connection! I have the latest updates. It only happens when I'm winning! Where's Eric when this happens? Who's minding the store here? Disappointed!
