Resolved: Game Explorer > My Chess Games

When I use game explorer to look at my games it only has 231 (121W 110B) of my games out of 843 played. What gives?

we only track correspondence games over 20 moves.

i'm assuming the issue is with live games missing?

Hmm, I assume that's to filter out as many timed out games as possible? I understand you may not want the databases filled with trash but is 20 moves not a little too high a threshold?

I don't really care about my live games, but I do like to keep track of my opening statistics in correspondence games and a big chunk of them are missing

arctor - did you ever change your username? that can also cause the problem. it's tied to username

Aha, that must be it so, I was previously "brilliantboy". Is it possible to recover them?

you can search the database by username. put in your old username. but they can't be merged at this time.

Ok, that's fine. Am I right in thinking they will disappear if someone in the future signs up with my old username?

Hi,

i've got a problem with the game explorer as well. Only 3 games are visible in the "my games" tab, although I have already completed 6 games with more than 12 moves played. How long does it take for the game explorer to be updated?

nobody? I also tried contacting the support but got no reply.

we are currently completely re-doing game explorer to include ALL of your games - those if you changed names, all correspondence games, and all live games over 5 minutes!

now I also got a reply from the support - it was only a problem with my mail provider so I didn't receive the answer.
