game ticking, board 1 move behind

when I hover over the game on my main page, it shows my opponent has played 0-0-0. yet when I go into the game, it just shows my last move + my time ticking. I cant pick up any of the pieces. Im afraid the game will just stall out my time. anyone know whats wrong?
