Good chess advice

I am not that good at chess...But I have learnt one thing in the game that I feel i can share with a lot of players better than me.?

Over estimating them can make u play less then your capable of too especially when playing higher rated opponents....

True statement. In OTB tournaments, I try to play everyone as if they are really strong players. It's dangerous to note your opponent's rating and then base your style of play around their rating.
