Has Maria BOT-1000 been changed? recently??

Thanks for the initial comments! However, I was looking for a more technical answer in how the Komodo s/w engine adjusts the difficulty and if that has been changed recently??? I see there are supposed to be ways to adjust the level of difficulty, but I only see "Options" presented which are choices of game speed/length?? Is there some other way to set the level of difficulty??

You can't change individual bot settings.
Has the algorithm for Maria (BOT-1000) been changed or upgraded recently? I have routinely played this BOT and rank against "her" 1600-1700. However, for the last 4 games, I have played exactly as before, but have encountered blocks to my planned moves, surprise complex checkmates,..., and lost all 4 times in embarrassment.
Any clue as to what is going on??
