having annoying pawn glitch issue

I’m having a pawn glitch issue happening, I move my pawn completely passing my opponents pawn and he still seems to be able to take my pawn even tho I’m completely passed by him.. this is an annoying glitch that seems to be happening a lot now please help because I love playing chess.com

It's a legal move called en passant
