Sound change?

My sound has changed since yesterday as well and it's quite annoying.

I was beginning to wonder if it was just me ! It's nasty...

After many years as a paying customer, the new sounds are enough to make me leave chess.com.

Yes...the default sound changed, I don't like it at all. I notice that on my phone the sound is still the same, but It is not the same when I play from my computer

It only changed for one day and then seemed to return to normal, Java glitch ? Or maybe someone hacked the server and started changing things lol, possibly not....I can think of a few things that the original 'noises' could have been replaced with..... o_O !

I remember Agadmator complaining about this as well. If you want to change the piece sounds, I believe they moved it under "Theme" instead of the Live Chess "Settings". Under Themes, select "Custom" and it should give you the option of selecting the board/pieces you want, as well as that pesky sound change option. I don't like how they moved it there and don't allow you to access settings in live chess anymore but I guess it is what it is.

Sounds are really bad, still no solution for that? No way to change the sound set? C'mon chess.com ...
