So basically, I need to add a password to my passwordless Chess.com account. I tried to click “forgot password” in the login screen, but it says my account is passwordless and I have to login with Google. How can I add a password? I need to do it like today and the bot says support will respond within 48 hours

You posted a comment in a thread, so you must have logged into your account somehow. I don’t think a “passwordless” account exists on chess.com; you probably just don’t use the password to log in because you had Google remember your password for you. You may already have a password you just don’t use?
Definitely sounds like a chess.com support question. Hopefully they respond sooner than 48 hours for you, but in future reference, give at least 2-3 business days for support to respond (on pretty much any site).

No worries. You can just leave it up and it will get naturally buried over time. Only chess.com staff can delete threads. If you delete your original post, then the thread stays and the next comment “inherits” the thread.
Just leave it. I’m glad you figured it out though :)
