I had a similar issue. When I chose one email address it just reloaded the page with no confirmation. When I tried my alternative choice that worked, so I guess that no error is given when the chosen email address already exists, but I would be interested in some clarrification on this as it is a bit strange.
How do I chose an email address at chess.com? Is it in the Edit-Profile-Info page?
If so, in this case:
Why when I enter an option there like "myoption@chess.com" and click "save changes", myoption simply desappear?
Is this because the option I made was already taken? Does the system give us a feedback if we chose an unavailable option?
