You will have to contact support directly. Only staff can reopen a closed account.
I've contacted them many times and they keep telling me it can't be retrieved. I need help from anyone or I want to talk to Eric💔

Sounds like you've received your answer.
Good luck with your new account.
Found the answer:
Chess.com permanently deletes your account 10 days after you initiate the closure. During this 10-day grace period, the deletion is reversible. If you log in at all, the deletion request will be canceled. Once the 10 days pass, the deletion is completely permanent and cannot be undone.

uhh i dunno if that's true anymore, one of my online friends here deleted her account in december 2025, and then returned now (may 2026) without having to contact the chess.com team or anything, it just asked for the email id, username, password etc that's it

Did she get her old account back, with old games?
or
Did she simply created a new account, with the same username, email & password?
I think she created a brand new account, and she did not get her old account back.
I'm dropping this account soon and I want to delete it. Is there a way to delete my account? I know how to close my account but you can contact Chess.com to bring it back, but I want mine gone permanently, and If I can't, is there a way to pretend I deleted it? Trying to be a bit creative here, thanks!
