there is a 10 minute lag. it is not practical to try and maintain a real-time online status because so many pages are just static. plus we can't detect browser closing (we COULD, but it would make the site slower...)
Hi...was just wondering if there was any lag time for a person's online status. I know on another site, if you see someone online, they could have been offline for up to 10 minutes, which is certainly no big deal, but I just didn't know if this was the same. Thanks!
