How to close account safely?

I used to have that problem so I just used Google and it let me in my acc that was made when I first logged in and logged out

for me i just have my password saved so it automatically logs me in, but idk if that would fix your problem
So long ago I used to play by a different account and for some reason i had to temporarily close it and I did it normally as everyone do but i encountered a problem. Later when I tried re-opening (log-in) my account by putting the correct email and password it said incorrect email or password. I checked the password and email again and again but still the result was same. Then I thought why not just create a new account as that account wasnt important anyways so I created a new gmail account and then tried to make a new chesscom account on the same day by signing in but when i tried it said "an account with this email already exists , do u wanna log in?" At that point I was confused so I then tried to login with the new gmail but it showed same issue of incorrect email or password. At that point I couldnt log in into my old chesscom account nor create a new chesscom account using a new gmail. When i tried other methods it said theres no history of my account. But a few days later I tried anyways and that time I was able to create a new chesscom account using the old gmail. I was like so confused on what was going on bcz my old gmail was connected to my old account and how i was able to create a new account using the same gmail and not get my old account back. A few days later I had to close my new account too and when I tried to re login after a few days same problem arrived of wrong email or password and no history of account. So this time ive to close my account again but i dont wanna lose my this account again and again so is there any way I can close safely and reopen it after a few days like everyone are able to do? Is there any problem in my method that is causing the same problem again and again? A few months ago my friend also lost his really old account like this but i see everyone closing accounts and getting it back , im so confused now. If u have experienced these types of problems or if u are experienced in this topic pls guide me.
