how to delete a game from the games archive?

I don't seem to be able to delete specific games no longer needed from my games archive.... I don't see an option to do that either... All I see is a button to "deselect all" when I may not want to deselect everything.... Or is it not possible to delete a game from the games archive on chess.com.... Please advise... Thanks.

Yeah it  also means everybody can see your games forever so....

Games are stored in your archive forever.

I was playing just about anything, after years of inactivity. So was hardly paying attention the first twenty or thirty games. Even thereafter still more or less testing the waters. There should be an option to either delete one's games or start over again.

Games are played by two people so they really couldn't be deleted and will always be tied to the accounts that played them.

We cannot delete games  Would cause major issues to the database and our entire rating system.

I am a beginner to chess and don't wish to look at every game I am playing. Why can't there be a 'delete option" ?

You Can't. The only way you can erase it is forgetting about it in your mind.

Once a game is played it's part of the site.
