How to disable the click to move function?

can you guys make program that selected piece loose selection after 2-3 second of selection. if so it will avoid unexpected moves of selection.

Gonna add my voice to this, I lose quite a few games because of click to move blunders. Come on chess.com, it really can't be that difficult.

why even give us the ability to choose which method we wanna move our pieces in the settings when both will always bloody work ?
I lose games to this stupid site all the time. The app is cleaner and better, but there’s a glitch on there right now that doesn’t show all of the chess variants and time selections and all that. They better fix this soon, I’m sick and tired of this nonsense.

The setting defines how the pieces behave when clicking on them.
