I really don't think it affects trhe timeout ratio. However, there IS a stat for withdrawals, which does not seem to do anything except for looking ugly.

It shouldn't affect timeout percentage. That's just wrong of chess.com to do that. For example, I widthdrew from a tournament because I found one of the participants was an undefeated computer user. I understand forfeit on the games, but timeout is a different issue alltogether.
The help entries are sometime incorrect. No timeouts on a withdrawal.
