The resign button is a flag and it can be found towards the bottom-right part of the screen above your username. Below is a screenshot of one of my current games for reference.

That screen doesn't look like the one i am playing on. I've looked all over the screen and can not find a flag that will allow me to resign. it's no wonder that people are complaining. we need a better resign button labeled resign.
If in V2, there will be a resign button in upper right corner. There should be the button that says "new game", "draw", and "resign".

So that's what the interface looks like in V3 (I've never used it so I didn't know). The resign button definitely needs to be bigger and more obvious. Also, I don't see an obvious "offer draw" button - is your arrow covering it? If so, it also needs to be a lot larger.

If a person lets their cursor rest on any of the buttons, a small will come up and tell you what the button does. i.e. offer draw, resign, etc
Is this Live or Daily? V2 or V3?

You can't save the game but you can export the PGN. Then, if you want to finish the game you can go to Learn > Analysis use Load PGN and click the Finish vs Computer icon 
on the bottom under the move arrows.
i agree, the resign button should be easier to find, lol.... no wonder some players complaint about me not resigning when i dont have a way hahaa

There as a post about players not resigning when it was obvious that the game was lost. I have been in that position but i can't find an icon or other button to resign. where is it?
