You have to claim the draw just like in OTB. It doesn't just get handed to you.
BTW, what's with the annoying colour?

How do I go about claiming the draw, OTB. Our "live chess" play was supposed to be monitored by the system .Please review my game , and you will have a better understanding of what I meant. Even my opponent agreed that it should declare a " draw".

Stop the clock and say draw.

No it shouldn't. It's your responsibility to claim it. I don't need to see the game as I know what you mean.
How do I proceed to stop the clock when it is beyond my means to do so. The responsibility rests on Chess.com. staff who are administering the 'live chess' game.
After your opponent has made his 3rd repetitive move, make yours then click on the Draw button to claim the game by repetition.

I was talking about stopping the clock in OTB (face to face), not online.
Kohai, many thanks for your enlightening reply. Now I know what to do, if such situation arises again.
Nuclearturkey, all the while, you do not know what I was talking about.ie, playing live chess on the internet, not face to face .Ignorance is bliss.

I knew exactly what you've been talking about. But, you asked how to claim the draw in OTB, not live. When you call someone ignorant, you'd better make damn sure it's not actually you who hasn't got a clue.

Nuclear here was the one trying to assist you besides Kohai, and you have acted like a douche for no apparent reason. That is Step One for getting ignored on forums. I wonder what you would say when people didn't solve your problems... O.o
I did mention ' live chess ' a number of times, and also to staff of Chess.com. If the game was played Over the board or Across the board ( face to face), it will be a different matter entirely. It could be resolved on the spot.It appeared that Nuclearturkey and I were on different wave length. My apologies if the topic was not explicit enough. Thanks for trying to help.

I knew all along your problem was with live, but you didn't actually ask how to claim a draw on live until post 7.

Not really, both can be resolved on the spot. But anyway you were the one who asked about it. From your 5th post: "How do I go about claiming the draw, OTB."

OK, no problem.
On 07-04-2010, at about 2300 hours ( Singapore time) I had a game with Hudeifha. It should end in a draw as the moves were repeated more than 3 times. I am disappointed with the staff who was supposed to monitor the system. Please do the necessary, corrections and amendments to my rating.
