Huge iOS App Problem

How do you turn off tap move? I always use drag, but when I drag something and move it back (in the same turn) I always end up selecting the piece, which makes the app think I'm tap moving. I try to deselect that piece by tapping a random place but the app always thinks i want to move there. I've lost so many games because of this. Help!

If I drag a piece on iOS phone and and change my mind and want to put it back and deselect it, I just drag the piece and drop it on one of my other pieces. This works because it is illegal to capture your own pieces.

You can also turn on Confirm Each Move in More>Settings>Play>Live Chess, but that doesn't work very good for Blitz or Bullet Games.
