I am unable to castle

The first few times I figured ohhh I must have been trying to castle thru check. After reviewing games and purposefully moving my knight and bishop out of the way as soon as possible to see if there is a time delay I still can’t castle. Is there a setting im missing. I play 10|15. As you can imagine this is putting me at a severe hand cap. And yes before anybody asks I did shut it off and turn it back on again.
