I cannot remove friends in the app

I can’t remove friends either (tried app and website). After pressing the “yes” to remove friend, my friend list stays the same. Blocking doesn’t remove them either.
I’m facing the same issue. I’ve tried removing a friend on the Chess.com app as well as on the website. While it shows a message confirming the friend has been removed, the person still appears in my friend list. Waiting for a day or two doesn’t help either. I’ve been trying for the past month to remove a friend (a random person I added by mistake) without success. I’ve also cleared the app cache, but nothing seems to work. Is this a bug in the app? Can anyone help?

i think it only clears when the person you want to remove is online

That’s not true. The friends I’ve been trying to remove have been online multiple times, yet they still remain in my friend list. This issue can only be resolved when chess.com decides to fix the bug.

Hi, I tried to remove profiles from the friends panel, but can't. When I refreshed app (or Website) deleted profiles show up again.
Thanks in advance for any good advice
