I can’t abort, instead it says resign

I aborted multiple times because I wanted to try this one opening that only worked as black (yes, I realized it’s a stupid idea and I won’t do it again) and now I had to actually abort a game because I realized I had no service, but it’s a resign button instead.

If you abort too often as a percentage of recently completed games, you lose the ability to abort.

Right, it's annoying as hell, this crazy ahh website made me resign because I accidentally clicked play, annoying as hell, I literally aborted 3 games because they gave me players below my rating like tf

You can modify your rating ranges, though it has to include your current rating.

Aborting is supposed to be rarely used.

Aborting just annoys your opponents, who wanted a real game. If you annoy too many people, the least you could do is lose some points as punishment.
