Can somebody explain what happened. I moved my pawn to d4 and he got me by moving his pawn to d3

It's a legal move called en passant

The "bug" is in your lack of chess knowledge

Antonio played en passant. It isn't actually a bug, but many do not know about it, and the move is unique in that it is the only capture that does not involve a piece moving to the square of the captured piece, so a lot of people take it as one.
