I hope chess.com is not a fraud, but my personal payment experience is so bad so far, please fix!

I cancelled the membership immediately after entered trial, it was not respected.

Because I didn't use this much, I only noticed I'm not off hook when I was keeping charged after the second auto charge.

Went to cancel again, went through all those annoying double checks, I suppose finished cancellation again from what shows on UI.

Found a few crazy facts:

1. it doesn't send out cancellation confirmation email.

2. it doesn't allow you to remove stored credit card information from the website

3. you can't reach a human from phone call or the chat interface

Hope I'll get a human response here. We all know well what I did, I need my refunds, and need to remove my credit card information from the site to stop charging me again for whatever glitches you may have!

It looks like you have had a Platinum membership since July 2024.

I am guessing that it automatically renewed several weeks ago. Is that right?

If you canceled it after the charge, canceling would only stop the auto-renewal next year.

You have got to reach out to support through the AI support link if you want a refund of the recent charge.

There is a form on the Support site to apply for a refund. When you go on the Support site, click "Additional Support" and enter "Billing" to the question of what you are looking for help with.

Have you received any response? How long has it been?
