I suddently lost 20 points from live chess?? Please help

I just lost 17 points from nowhere? what is happening ?

I was playing and logged off live chess I was 2237 and when I came back on I had lost 17 (2220) Please what is this ?

Evidently, the loss to Gukakokaia cost you 25 points.

That makes no sense, why would I lose 25 points there? It said I lost -8 points when I lost to him

It happend again!!! But this time in rapid!!! I log in and it says 1836 however I just won a game to 1853, but I am scared to play because if I do then that game will not count??

This is getting frustating..

Ok, wtf... draw, but you went back to 36. Strange/stupid...

By drawing and losing 0! points I technically lost every point that I won from that one game. This really needs to be fixed..

My game is not a disaster as I actually got my strange rating loss back by winning games again. It is this bug that is a frustating !

How are the points after winning/losing a game calculated i.e +/- X ,say for e.g a player with 888  wins a match against a player with 956,eventually gains 10 points and the new score of the former is 898.How was the 10 points calculated?
