I don't believe that four player chess is available on the iOS app.
But the 5s is an old phone with a slim and narrow profile. Which would make the layout of a four player board impossible for anyone to play.
You can’t play four-player chess on any iOS system, or any chess variations, for that matter, as far as I know. I’d be surprised if you could on Android. Your best shot is to play on the website via Safari, making sure you ‘Request Desktop Website’.
