Well, I was gonna get an Ipad, but if I can't play chess.com, then no way. Thanks Steve Jobs! Yell

YES - chess.com is fully functional on ipad (except videos, which you can access with our ipad app). we do NOT use flash.

we have a new iphone/ipad upgrade coming out this week which will be MUCH better for ipad ;)

So if i understand correctly,  Chess.com works fine with the ipad browser but in order to watch the video feeds I would have to download the app?

Yes chess.com works in an ipad.

I have the IPad. Just go to Safari and type in chess.com. It works beautifully. (I am on my iPad right now.) I find going through safari to get to chess .com is better than downloading their apps and getting chess.com that way. Try both. See what you think. iPad is the best thing sinced sliced bread. Stwils

Ipad is not compatible with any web pages written with Flash. Which is about 75-80% of web pages today.

83% of all stats are made up. I think you need to check your figures, Flash is waaaay down in the list of technologies used.

(adverts and banners maybe, not full websites, but hey, if it doesn't show them then it's more of a bonus than anything else, surely)

I didn't say that flash isn't used, I said that your 75-80% figure is wrong.

Flash can be brilliant when used well. It can also be a complete pain when implemented badly.

According to this link, we're talking around 15% of sites.
