the title says it all.

I'd like to use the analysis board for analizing a game but I can't find a way to disable the engine

Ciao Francesco. Non so aiutarti con l’engine ma ti propongo una partita 3 giorni a mossa

Clicca su "thinking lines" così da togliere il segno di spunta e non fa più le analisi in automatico.

You can't reduce the thinking lines below 1 and the depth below 5 sec. you can choose to uncheck the thinking lines as you said, now it's fine before it wasn't working.it was probably a glitch.

ty for the help.

Are you referring to the three computer evaluation lines?

With a web browser, uncheck the Show Lines box.

yep it was a glitch, it worked later.

Ok, none of those suggestions disables the engine from working in the background, however i found the solution.

Instead of going to chess.com/analysis i needed to go to chess.com/live and choose Live Analysis from the drop-down. This gives me an analysis board where i can turn the engine off.

It is a well hidden feature, i'm glad i found it.

Is there a way of turning off the evaluation when you are playing Beth Harmon?

It depends on what level you play with. If you choose Custom you can configure what features show.
