Is it possible to premove in Online Chess?

I was wondering if there is a way to premove when playing online turn-based correspondence chess?

It would be practical when executing a forced line.

Yes, there is something almost like it called conditional moves.

Hawksteinman

Yes

The key distinction being that it's conditional, meaning you only "pre-move" in response to a specific opponent move, as opposed to the unconditional pre-moves in live chess which don't take your opponent's move into account unless it makes your pre-move illegal.

Is this something reserved for premium members or that has to be turned on in settings?

I can not seem to find it.

Declaring multiple conditional lines is reserved for premium members, but a single conditional line should be available to all.  (Though having said, this, I can't find it either).

Oh, found it, it's only available when it is your opponent's move.

Ha yeah your right. Thanks. I was looking at a game where it was my turn as well.

Though this is better than nothing, and great for forced lines, the premove option would be very handy at times (especially to counter the fascinating people of our comunity who goes on holiday a couple of moves away from mate)

Is this something chess.com would consider adding?

Well like you said; when your opponents move does not at all play in on your next move, but he still has a large number of moves he could make.

Entering ten, fifteen, maybe twenty conditional lines sounds overly time consuming ....
