Is There a Way to Revert Back to the Old UI?

The buttons look more pressable, sure, but they feel like they're trying too hard. The gradients are too extreme, and it's to the point of distraction. The old buttons were clear in where they were, and looked like they belonged. It breaks the visual harmony of my otherwise simple page.
I'm mainly just yapping because it felt a little unbalanced to not say much

here's a picture of the old ui that I want back

vs the new ui that I want to be reverted (or at least for the ability to go back to the old ui)

Part of what I really like about chess.com is the ui, and small differences like button redesigns make a big difference on the "feel" of chess.com.

Really hoping it's possible. Hope someone knows!

No, there is no way to change if you're on the updated code

@Martin_Stahl how do I change back to the old UI, this new sidebar I think was added yesterday and in my view it looks horrendous and is much more difficult to use

@Martin_Stahl I find this highly disappointing, are there any plans for this feature to be added?

The site doesn't maintain multiple versions of code long term, so adding a method to switch is unlikely. The old code will be removed after the new version is fully rolled out.

Chess.com makes UI changes all the time, most are unpopular, they happen anyway, you will hopefully get used to it eventually.

@Martin_Stahl the new sidebar is actually quite annoying, it is less functional and doesn't look so good either, kindly share how to revert

You can't revert. While some things have moved, the same functions are available.

Same as always; instead of fixing bugs they make things worse by "updating".

It was SO useful to just hover over Community and see which friends where online. Now you have to go down and click on a thing, then click away again... Better than yesterday, when it dragged you to an entirely different page, but still.

Does anyone else miss the lovely old solved puzzle 'ping'? I strongly dislike the new sound. I don't think there is a way to change it back, is there?

Also did they reduce the free puzzle limit from 3 to 2 ?? Cuz when I solved 2 puzzles today I got the pop up "You have reached your daily limit " !?
