Issue Connecting on old linux computer

Hi I recently plugged in my old linux computer and attempted to connect to chess.com, however I encountered a problem and the page would not load. So basically does chess.com require a flash plugin or something that would be missing?

nope. but you should use a modern browser.

I just wish I knew why emails I get from groups are often duplicated five fold.

Thanks Eric,

I have firefox installed, although I haven't updated in over 2 years.

The OS is Ubuntu Feisty, and the hardware is really slow, I'll try upgrading the browser or installing alternatives.
