Is there any benefit to learning with chess software like Fritz over the training available here in chess.com?
Wanting to improve so putting more effort into playing on here by using the learn sections, reading articles and analysing my previous games BUT I am only ever around the 1200 rating here on Chess.com and I can’t ever seem to improve. For instance just when I think I am getting somewhere on tactics I fail consecutively like I have never played before
Even when following openings or previous games I get lost in the notation so the whys of the situation never seem to sink in? I can’t pinpoint areas that will help me improve because everything I try never seems to get any better.
Messed up cells in the learning section of my brain i think so maybe there’s slim hope for improvement but I just wondered if the software offers anything different from chess.com that might help me improve?
