it depends - if it is an advertisement political or religious or something like that then NO. if not, probably fine.
Ok, it's neither of those so thank you. I wasn't sure of your policy as I see a lot of links edited out of forums.
Erik, I'd like to know if I can add a link to my profile to a community I'm part of. It's a free community and as such, probably isn't advertising.
Can I add a "not for profit" link to my profile, and if so, how?

Eric, I was just wondering if it's ok to post a link to a non-chess related web site in the off topic forum, or is this against the rules of this site. I'm just making sure before I do it. Thanks for your help.
