This disconnect is clearly an issue. I cannot understand why a distinction cannot be made between a chess server disconnect and one which is elsewhere whether intentional or not. You should not be docked points or ratings if it's not your fault. This would be a game changer in regards to new subscribers! I have tried all of those fixes and none of them work! And besides the chess server should be robust enough not to do these! Something has got to give!

Because the server can't connect to your client but can't tell why the connection isn't working. Sure, technically a check could be made to see where the connection drops, with keeping track of the final hop, but tracking millions of games a day like that would be very resource intensive and probably cause more problems than it solves.
This chess site is a joke! It's been set up for a specific purpose and that's to simply annoy players and promote bad behaviours! Simply not been set up or configured properly!
- - - It will be better for everyone if you "ll fix this problem . It"s been a long time since it occurred and you"ve done nothing .It"s very unfair for us because you know the problem and still ignore it .
The issue today is a server crash. The demand on the system is the likely reason. Recent issues have seen an unprecedented spike in connectivity and the site is trying to keep things stable and scale. They want downtime less than anyone.
