Live chess problem

The clock isint accurate imo. Can this be ironed out?! Like on yahoo and facebook the clock jumps from 10 seconds to like 6 seconds in one move, i hate that! my connection isnt bad either as i have used both programs on various computers. pain in the neck! The lag should be displayed like on playchess.com rather than penalizing each player for their connection, or the programs own lag or whatever.

My wireless internet intermittently cuts out and reconnects almost instantly, unfortunately when the connection is lost I need to reload the entire frame to do anything. This automatically makes me lose the current game. Anyone with imperfect wireless could attest to this. I think a reconnect feature would greatly improve a lot of people's experiences with live chess. Laughing

I agree with both post's.  Losing connection and losing a game defenity is the pits. My connection keeps me from being able to take part in short games (under 5min) because of my lag, I can't keep up with my opponent.  When it comes down to the wire... i lose everytime.

Another problem I have noticed is that I occasionally get draw offers. Nothing to worry about I thought, just my opponent trying it on in a losing position. However, last night two of my opponents (can't remember their names) told me that they were not sending draw offers!

I know its BETA and that entire lingo and I’m having the usual troubles like everybody else. Disconnect etc.etc.etc.etc.I hope the Chess.com team will fix it nicely soon.

But that LIVE thing is amazing … My heart speeds up like an old Benz engine, I hold my breath.. Speed all over the monitor Pim Pan PUM. What a rush. Breathless towards the last nano second and suddenly it’s over.

It’s an absolute new World for me, maybe a Universe I like to play chess, think about the options and strategies on hand. But this LIVE thing is astonishing to me. Out of the blue, material losses are not any more crucial. Keep your King safe and rush towards the finish line.

TIME IS Ticking. Pim Pan PUM

I agree Fandango - I tend to play 1 game of blitz before going to bed & it takes me 30 mins easily before I come down ... I should play in the morning before going to work.  Maybe I'd be more productive with all that adrenelin pumping round :-)
