how can  i play live chess with a friend i  can see on on my live chess board???

In Live Chess, once you and they are on each other’s friends list, every time they are in live chess, their username will appear in blue in the chatroom, and will show in your friends list tab in live chess, so you can find them there.

From the friends tab, you can either challenge friends or see if they are already playing, and watch their game using the "observe" link by their name.

If they are chatting in live chess chatroom, you can challenge them by clicking on their name, then on "Challenge"

I've tried that, but what i get is a normal challenge game (over 3 day move etc) but i can't find how i can play live chess, there and then.. Am i missing something

From your homepage, right side menu options it says "Live Chess".

Click on that, then when the page opens, click where it says "Play Live".

That takes you into live chess

Once in there, you'll see two boxes. One is the game board, one is the main chatroom.

Above the chatroom are 4 tabs;

Game - where you chat to your opponent while playing

Challenges - where you can accept one someone else has created

Friends - where anyone on your friends list will appear if they are in live chess

the same time as you

Main Chatroom - where the chatters are :)

If you leave your friend a message on his homepage, let him know what time and when you'll be in live chess, you can arrange to meet in there.

Thats when you click on the friends tab, then challenge him to a live chess game from there.

You can't challenge people to live chess games from their homepage sorry.

if during gameplay in live chess it comes up reconnecting and it is not my computer, do i have to wait till the time runs out before i can get a new game, and if it does it during my go, "my time runs down" and as it did earlier i looked in games and saw that i lost the game
