login problem

Hi,

I have been playing on my android cellphone (galaxy1) and laptop using the same username and password. it all went well untill i tried logging in with my ipad (using the same password). i couldnt log in, so i tried logging out from the other two devices. now, i can only log in with the laptop, the cellphone and ipad won't recognize my user.

any advice?

tried it. deleted, downloaded again, still no good. "sign in error, invalid password". same password and username works just fine on my laptop...

done that too. still only my laptop can log on...

I set a new account with a different username, that works okay on my mobile devices. the old account, however, still works only on the laptop. no strange chars. Its very annoying, all my history and rating down the drain...is there no way for you to check it out and maybe fix it?

I'll message you. It's not an easy thing to troubleshoot if you can't replicate the behavior..

it happend first to me after password reset. No idea how to login using iPad app now :(

I also cannot login on Android (Samsung Galaxy Ace). It asks me for the username/password and when I enter them it just gets stuck at the "Signing In ..." screen.

I see a short message flash "Invalid Password" but im 100% sure its correct.

I have a similar problem as HongFaeBu above.  I signed up for Chess.com on my laptop using Facebook to login.  When I tried to login to the app on a LG G3 Android 4.4.2 using facebook, the app tells me that I don't have a Chess.com user account, when I do.  I had to make a separate account for the mobile app, and I have the same login problem vice versa: I cannot login to my 2nd account on my laptop when I'm using the correct username and password.  PLEASE fix this so I can login to my accounts on different devices.

Today I had several games and in the middle of the game after making my last move the system just hangs up and declares I have  loss because I abandoned the game. And it always happens on my last move. Chess.com needs some repair

When I first see the log in screen it says I tried too many times and will have to wait even though I haven't yet tried. If I can get in using Google it recognizes me, my name comes up, but I have no history and I am treated like a guest even though I have been Diamond for months. Using Galaxy A , has always worked fine.

My subscription is not up until the 11 February 2022 yet I am locked out

If you're on a browser, you might try clearing your browser cache. If you have plugins or add-ons, disabling those might be needed to test.

 

If you're on the Android app, clearing the app cache may help. Otherwise, uninstalling and reinstalling it might.
