lost a gold medal to a cheater

i just had a tournament of 30/0 slow rapid chess. i won the 2nd place. the 1st place won a cheater ("Alcoholsmurf"). In the final 4th round i played against the cheater himself and lost. I got suspicious when i saw that his account is just one week old. however anyway 5 minutes after the tournament and my report the cheater's account got closed for cheating. I got my puny 10 elo points back but not my gold medal. As you might know those tournaments last 4 hours each. So it is quite hard work to earn those medals. I wrote a pm about an hour ago to chess.com but i doubt, they will read it in near future. Is there an effective way to tell chess.com to also correct tournament medals?

The site does not change tournament standings due to account closures and has no way to award medals to different players.

But that account was just 1 week old and got closed right after he stole the gold trophy of the tournament, which lasted 4 hours. i insist to get my gold trophy back. Also who is such a jerk and uses his cheats at online-tournaments? that is just criminal.
