Help & Support is at the bottom of the page.
OK, I see it now, sort of. Thanks. It's waaaaaaaay down there. And clicking it takes me to page that tells me to try the forums first before messaging support.
Hrumph. :)

There's actually still some spam in there.
Exactly how much contact have you had with the internet in your life? You just hope they aren't out of the spam, eggs, sausage and spam, otherwise you have to get the spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, eggs, bacon and spam.
i love fried spam with eggs and potatoes and spam sandwiches on sourdough with lettuce tomato mayo and mustard. yum
I think he means the adverts. I guess he hasn't seen my thread about it yet. Then he would complain less and appreciate more.

I'm not referring to the adverts that chess.com runs. I'm talking about blogs that feature spam independent of that which the site itself uses for revenue.
In any event, constructive complaints can help make the site better, and it is quite possible to both complain about *and* appreciate a site. The two are not mutually exclusive.
Btw, those spam pictures are really gross. :)
I am with you on the criticism, I guess what I didn't understand is "there is too much spam and not enough about chess, so I'm not going to blog about chess."
I'm probably explaining it badly, but the spam was getting to a point where most people's blogs were getting shunt off the first screen, meaning hardly anyone would be reading them. After awhile it seems as if you're howling pointlessly in the wilderness.
Anyhow, I now think the forums are where stuff seems to really be happening - I didn't expect much of a response to this miniature rant of mine, and yet have probably more people commenting in this thread than possibly all of my blogs combined.

+1
Apparently you're right. I'm relatively new here, and wanted to start a chess blog to share puzzles, games, etc., but now think the whole thing is sort of an afterthought outside of a few regular titled player columns.
There's actually still some spam in there. The furniture ad is still there, and two other products that I'm not eager to find out more about. Meanwhile Grandmaster Hammer's blog on the Arctic Securities tournament languishes on page two with 32 reads and zero comments.
