Taxes are being collected in many regions but the base price site memberships that remained active didn't change.
You can check your account billing history and you will probably find that no taxes had been collected previously. That's a relatively new process.
Taxes are the work of Satan.
And free membership is up.

Thank you, Martin. It looks like it is a new Canadian tax because it doesn't coincide with the Sept. rate hike, but kicks in in October.
