missing pieces

Very odd! What browser are you using? If you log in to Chess.com and look at the games using a different browser, do you have the same problem? If so, you may need to clear the cache of your original browser.

Hey David, it seemed to work itself out and we have no idea what happened...it hasn't happened since. We were both using the app, but my opponent was logged into chess.com on his ipad rather than using the app which I think may have contributed to the problem.

It's always a bit weird when stuff can't be reproduced, but it's unlikely that anything your opponent was running was affecting your end of things - all the app does is pass his move to the server. and it's the server that then sends the move to you, so they can't affect you in any way.

All relevant info was sent over incase anything needed to be addressed but it really may be that their still playing catchup with all of the new users from past few months !

Same problem for me We both have no queen, he has no knight I have no rook, trying playing anyway lost my queen by a black bishop. i forgot my invisible queen was on b6. lol

The issues in the OP is slightly different. There seems to be an issue with the CDN the site uses for static image hosting, impacting some members, mainly in parts of Canada and Portugal. Staff are aware of the issue.
