My forum post "Flags are Great" has been moved to off topic. I understand that most of the conversation is off topic. That said, the forum post is most certainly site feedback. It is wrong of you to move this post so that it gets lost in the off topic forums.

Flags are great, change yours to the international one if you oppose flag relates policies. This is literally an attempt to silence opposition to chess.com policy even when done in the most polite and respectful manner possible. This is not right.

We are the users of this site. This policy is the reason I don't pay for premium. All humans can do to oppose corporate power is to stop giving money and to speak our minds. You refuse to let us do the latter so I hope more people start doing the former.

Moving it to off-topic seems appropriate for that thread. You didn’t offer any site feedback, and just mentioned how you liked to change your flag every once in a while.

What am I missing?

Yes, in off topic it will be actually more visited because that thread is NOT belonging to site feedback.

I didn't want to word it too obviously otherwise the post would have been closed.

The site feedback is chess.com should change it's policy regarding flags. That's the feedback. It's not blatantly stated, but it's clearly hinted at.

Have an issue with the policy regarding flags, change yours to the international one is what it says because we're not allowed to give feedback on this issue. It gets banned no matter how many players have an issue.

The post is already on page 3 of the forums. It will get lost and ignored. And all I wanted to do was make a way (honouring chess.com's policies on speaking about this issue) that users could show this issue bothers them.

I was just trying to make create a way for players to say "I oppose the policy applied to Russia but not America or Israel or China etc". Or people like me who think this policy has no place, "flags represent people not just the state".

Also sorry for the lack of paragraphs, the app doesn't allow them.

Not trying to be funny. But I just searched "flag" in the forum search and I can't find my post. Did they really move it to "off topic", let it get lost, then delete it. I don't want to believe that's the case, but I can't find the post anymore. Scrolled through pages on posts on the "off topic", couldn't find it. Then searched and it's not there anymore.

uh hello cooper from that one video game

Avatar of TheOtherAlysCooper

Apologies, it is there. I realise now I was searching in the wrong thread. I thought the search was for all posts not "off topic" etc. Not trying to be a pain.

Well, these threads aren’t allowed. In which case, getting your thread moved to OTF is better than it being locked.
