Not so far ... I have IE 8.??? (newest one with all updates) and FF 3.6.13 here ... for chess I can only use IE since I don't see the pieces in FF. Maybe I'll give Chrome or Opera a try ;)
(Everything was OK with FF 3.6.13. on my other - newer - computer with Vista, I had to change back to my old PC with XP since the other one won't boot anymore ... I'm planning to buy a completely new one soon and hope everything will be fixed then ...)
I'm having a problem with either Tactics Trainer and Chess Mentor: sometimes (in Chess Mentor about once every second lesson) the move I make is not recognized. The moved piece remains in its new square, but the program doesn't react to it (by saying correct, wrong or whatever). It's then waiting for me to make the next move of the *opposite* colour (which should be made by the program), and this move is then rated as wrong. It's not so bad in Tactics Trainer, as it's just one problem failed when I might have made the correct move, but it's a real problem in Chess Mentor since I'm unable to finish the lesson when this happens - the program doesn't even let me go back to the last position because when I click on "Back" it produces the position with the piece moved by me and demands a move of the wrong colour again ...
Does anyone know this behaviour, any suggestions? I'm using IE 8 since I don't see the pieces in Firefox (which is my preferred browser elsewhere ...)
