Muted for speaking Japanese in chat

I was chatting with a player from Japan during a game, and using romaji to speak Japanese with them. Chess.com immediately muted my account for saying "benkyou shita" (Eng. "studied")

"shita" (Eng. "did") is an *incredibly* common word in Japanese; it's used in almost every conversation. It is completely unrelated to the word "shit," and I'm pretty sure nobody uses it as an alternative spelling for "shit."

The censorship algorithm is too sensitive, and as a result it seems like it effectively bans speaking certain languages, like Japanese.

The auto-mod is a simple text matching filter. So it will always match on strings like that. I know a similar issue came up for another language and it was being referred to the developers.

However, I believe the site is looking into a revamp of that system and I don't think there are likely to be changes until that project is being implemented.
